I have the honour to confirm my telegram of the 2nd. September, in which I reported the death of ir. J. G. McEwen which took place on the 31st. August in the Coverment Civil Hospital. He was admitted to hospital suffering from fever the nature of which could not be ascertained and on the lat.

August his temperature increased till at 10.50 p.m. he succubed. The cause of death being continued fever and Hyperpyrexia.

aged 2 years and nine months respectively, they will proceed to England by the P. & 0. S. S. "Namur" which leaves Hongkong on the 15th. October. The passages ave been paid by this Government as Lr. Molven was included in the Free Passage Scheme.

whose address is given as the relative to whom communication should be made in case of death, has recently died, but that iss Lolven his sister resides at the same audress viz.::
