Referring to your Despatch No. 231 of 20th. July, 1912, I have the honour to report that I have ranted to br. B. C. L. Lewis a pension of which the paper of particulars is enclosed and from which you will observe that I have adopted your view that the pension should take effect as from the 16th. of üctober next the day after the expiration of his leave.
Copies of the pension prper are being sent to the Crom Aparts who will be instructed to furnish a copy to lir. Levis and so issue pagonts to him as they become due.
