I have the honour to inform you that an
enquiry has been received on behalf of Ir. Li Ping, the owner of New Kowloon Inland Lot lo. 46 as to whether the area to the North- -East of that lot, coloured blue on the enclosed plan (marked A), would be available for him to take up at some future time as it. will affect the method now adopted for laying out the lot.
In 1910 the present applicant was allowed to exchange the agricultural lots, edged in brown on the accompany- -ing plan (arkod B), for the building areas coloured red and yellow on to condition amongst others that he would fill in at
his on expense the areas so coloured and the streets and lucs
coloured reen to such lovels as the Director of Public Works . ight &
#pyrove; and on the following further condition:
"If, when this position of Block I, as shown on the
"plan, is accurately marked on the ground, it be found tarta
"space intervenes between the northern boundary of t.at
"Block and de southern boundary of lot 2440, Suon the
"northern boundary of Block L shall be shifted northwards "within the intervening space to an extent not exceeding 30
"lineal feet".

In recommending this particular condition the Director of Public Works minuted:- "The applicant was originally
"led to believe that the length of Block I would be 100 feet; ule
