Sir,
I have the honour to transmit translation of a petition from the Committee of the Shaukivan Public Dispensary pray. -ing that they may be granted a site on which to build a Public
Dispensary.
2.
In forwarding the petition Mr. Brewin recommend-
-ed that the site showm on the accompanying plan should be granted
at a nominal rent to the Registrar-General as trustee for the
Chinese Community of Shaukivan and the Principal Civil Redical
Officer expressed nis concurrence in the recommendation.
3.
I have accordingly to submit for your favour- -able consideration that the grant asked for should be Lade upon
the following terms:-
(a). No premium.
(b). Crown Rent $1 per annum.
(c). Term 75 years from date of approval by the Secretary
of State.
(d). The lease to be in the name of the Registrar-General
on behalf of the Community of Shaukivan.
(e). Premises to be used as a Dispensary; if used for
any other purpose the land to revert to the Crowm.
(f). The lessee, on behalf of the Community of Shaukivan,
to fill in ta sucn levels as the Director of Public
