In confirmation of my telegram of the 12th. and

14th. August, I regret to have to inform you of the death of Acting Lance Sergeant 104, William Stuart, which took place at the Covernment Civil Hospital at 1.45 p.m. on the 14th. August. He was admitted to the Hospital at 7.30 p.m. on August 6th. suffering from dysentery of a very acute character Fulminating Dysentery which in spite of most assiduous treatment and careful nursing terminated fatally. He was attended by Drs. Koch and Moore in consultation with Dr. Bell but he did not rally at any time in the course of his illness.

The Superintendent of the Government Civil Hospital reports that he is unable to account for the manner in which the disease was contracted.

The estate will be administered as usual by the Captain Superintendent of Police and any effects due to his next of kin will be forwarded through the Crown Agents in due course.
