25. Payment of Claims on Fund.

26.-() All claims against the Fund shall be charged in the first instance hagg of against the Income Account.

(2) If the moneys at the credit of the Income Account are not sufficient to pay the claims at any time made on the Fund, the Treasurer shall have recourse to the amounts then standing at the credit of the Officers' Personal Account for the payment of such claims, taking and writing off an equal percentage from the amount standing to the credit of each officer.

(2) If the whole of such amount is not sufficient, then the Treasurer shall have recourse to the amount at the credit of the Reserve Fund Account as far as may be necessary for the payment of such claims,

27-() Where an officer is in default, the amount from time to time at the Liability of credit of his Personal Account shall to the extent of such default be transferred to Account of the account out of which the amount of such default has been paid.

Where two or more officers are found to be in default under Rule 19 but their respective responsibilities cannot be determined, every such officer shall for the purposes of this section be deemed to be jointly and severally liable in respect of an amount bearing the same proportion to the total amount of the loss as the security of such officer bears to the aggregate securities of the officers in default.

28.
