On the 8th. December a representative of the Pro-

-vincial Government called at this office and notified us that the

whole Railway was properly guarded, and we made an inspection of

the line as far as Sam Chun on the 11th. December and has been

maintained since.

Until the 14th. instant it was impossible to resume traffic as the present Government could not give us the necessary

therefore all claim which will have to be discussed

later on due to suspension of traffic, will be from 7th. November

to 14th. December, 1911.
