encroaches upon lot No. 2560, and therefore pending the conclu-
-sion of satisfactory arrangements with the owner of that lot for its surrender, the area coloured green must be excluded from the
proposed grant.
4.
In these circumstances I recommend upon the
advice of the Director of Public Works and Registrar-General that the grant asked for should be made upon the following conditions:-
(a). The existing temple to be removed within one
month from the date of the communication of the
approval of these terms.
(b). A lease for the area shown coloured red and hatched
in red on the attached plan to be granted for the
residue of a term of 75 years, commencing from the
let. July, 1898, renewable for 24 years less three
days, and the area coloured green to be included
therein whenever it becomes available.
(c). The lease to be in the name of the Registrar-
-General on behalf of the Community of Shanshuipo. (d). The lessee, on behalf of the Community of Shamshui-
-po, to fill in within 12 months of the date
mentioned in (a) the whole of the area coloured red.

green is also to be filled in to such levels as may
be approved by the Director of Public Works and to
his satisfaction whenever this area is handed over
to the lessee. The area coloured yellow to be hand-

(e). The nominal Crown Rent of $1 per annum to be paid
for the lot.
(f). The lot may only be occupied by a temple and a
public dispensary for the use of the Community. No
