C. Points for consideration in coming to a decisi-

A. The promoters will perform the following acts:- 1. Pay a premium of 8500 an acre for all the avail- -able area, which means a sum of 822,500 for 45 acres.

2. Pay Crow Rent at the rate of $100 an acre, which means an annual payment of $4,500.

3. Pay rates for lighting and scavenging estimated

at $5,500 a year.

4. Carry out a road scheme on the site on a plen to be approved by the Government, and give the Government a right of way across the site over a roau not less than 20 feet in width.

5. Carry out all the works described in paragraphs Nos. 16 to 23, 25, 27, 34 and 39 of the pamphlet.

6. Make the tramway described in paragraph 8 of the pamphlet, or if considered proferable by the Govern- -ment a cable tramway with a gradient of about 1 in 4 to a height of about 450 feet. The cost of such f tramway has been estimated by the ngineers of the True. -way Company checked by br. Logan, to be about $60,000.

7. Drain the site as proposed in peraraph 9(a) of the pamphlet, other than Government works in B (3b
