Sir,
I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 22nd. ultimo (No. 1116/1910 Confidential) informing this Chamber that a Committee appointed by His Excellency the Governor has reported that, in its opinion, if a commercial wire- -less station is erected in this Colony it should be of medium power having a day range of 850 miles.
My Committee concur in this opinion, and believe that the station will be of great benefit to the Colony and will undoubtedly prove to be a comercial success.
I am etc.,
(Sd.) Edbert A. Hewett,
Chairman,
Hongkong General Chamber of Commerce.
