I do not think there can be any difference
of opinion as to which of the two Mr Sharp or ur Gompertz- would make the better Attorney General.
Mr Sharp is at present practising in London.
He has considerable private means and probably the position
and prospect of promotion would tempt him to come out again. am not at all sure that he would come, but, if he would, I think the Government should press for his appointment. He is of course not persona grata with Sir Francis Piggott.
