I.P.C. 693, Talla Wand, reported at 6.15 p.m. on the 30th. December that at 5.30 p.m. same date while patrolling in Wing Lok Street near the 01d Harbour Office he saw a Chinaman on the verandah of the Old Harbour Office sharpening butcher's choppers, the Chinaman wilfully threw a pig's gall bladder at him which struck him on the leg: he at the same time shouted Mullo Kwai, the P.C. tried to arrest him but the man ran away.
Fung Sze and Ho Ping arrested 31st. December and charged by P.C. 103 and A.L.S. 1044 for resisting the Police, the constables were arresting the latter for hawking without a licence in Wing Wo Road when the former resisted and came to the assistance of the prisoner.
