With reference to our representative's call this morning
concerning the ordinance to provide for the issue by this Bank of
Notes in Hongkong, we beg to confirm the following extract from a
telegram received from our Hongkong Office;-

As explained to you to-day it is very important that we shall have the option of depositing the Securities with the Crown Agents for the Colonies or Trustees here, as provided in the Draft Ordinance shown to us, as well as with the Colonial Treasury, Hongkong, we are wiring to this effect to our Hongkong Office to-night.
