Sir,
I am directed by the Board of Trade to transmit here-
with, to be laid before the Secretary of State for the
Colonies a copy of a Report which has been received from
the Cables (Landing Rights) Committee upon an application
by Mr R. Taylor for a licence to erect an experimental
wireless station at Hong Kong.
I am to add that the Board assume that, if the
Secretary of State sees no objection, he will take the
necessary steps to give effect to the recommendation of
the Committee contained in paragraph 4 of the Report.
