SECTION 2.
Sir F. Villiers to Sir Edward Grey.-(Received April 18.)
Lisbon, April 13, 1911.
I HAVE the honour to report that, "in view of the approaching renewal of negotiations with China respecting the delimitation of Macao," a commission has been appointed to consider and report upon other matters of importance which concern the colony, such as a treaty of commerce, the Macao to Canton Railway, the opium question, extradition and nationality.
Among the members of the commission are Colonel Freire d'Andrade, lately Governor-General of Mozambique, now Director-General of the Colonies, Sir Joaquim Machado, who went out last year to China as Portuguese Commissioner, and several well-known officials of the foreign and colonial departments,
I have, &c.
