Following is last telegram from His Majesty's consul-general at Canton, 29th April:---
"City quiet. Viceroy of Canton and Europeans safe.”
I have no information of any trouble at Hankow, but I have telegraphed to consuls at Canton and Flankow. Reports in newspapers are evidently greatly exaggerated.
