I have to inform you that my Brother-in law, P.C. G. C. Shepherd, who is athome on leave from Hong Kong, has died after a short illness, to-day the 29th September, at Church Street, Cambridge. I should be obliged if you would advise me of any necessary steps to be taken to obtain recognition for his widow and one child, who are solely dependant upon him. They were returning to Hong Kong in about five weeks' time, his leave of absence ex- piring on December 17th 1911.
