I
begto place in your hands my resignation of
the position of Overseer of Roads in Hong Kong, as I have
decided not to return to the Colony. As you are aware
my period of leave would sxpire on the 15th of August
next.
Since November 1907 I have been a contributor to
the Widows' & Orphans' Fund of the Staff and I should be
obliged if you would make arrangements to have refunded
to me the amount payable under the Colonial regulations.
