Dear Sir,
In reference to your letter of the 4th instant
I enclose a copy of one from the contractors to whom the
roof for the Kowloon Market under the above requisition,
has been let. You will observe from this letter that it
is most important that the out standing questions in connec-
tion with this roof which you desired should remain in
abeyance until your arrival in London early next month,
should be settled at the earliest possible date and in the se
circumstances I shall be glad to hear when I may expect to
have the pleasure of seeing you,
