Both Mr. E. W. Carpenter an
Xavier, who carried on Mr. C. H. Gale's duties during his absence,
worked a great deal of overtime. They are both very zealous and cap-
-able officers and I consider that they deserve extra remuneration.
The amount of overtime they worked amounted

Their present salaries are at the rate of:-
