The estimate for Land Sales has been
maintained at $100,000 but in view of the already marked im-
-provement in the value of property, it is very likely to be
exceeded.

Sterling items have on the advice of
the Treasurer after consultation with the Chief Manager of the
Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation been calculated at

9 d. to the dollar, which was the rate adopted for the
Estimates of the three preceding years.
