I have the honour to report that I have granted to lir. William Arthur Crake, Assistant Marine Surveyor in the Harbour Department, three months less 1 day vacation leave on full pay dating from 4th. instant and thereafter a pension at the rate of 8900 per annum at 3/- to the dollar £135 with effect from 3rd. January, 1912, and that the Crowm Agents for the Colonies have been instructed to make payments on both accounts as they become due.

From the report of the Medical Board enclosed you will see that it has been found necessary to

invalid Er. Crake from the service.

Mir. Crake was a capable and hard-working officer and I much regret the necessity for his retirement.
