Sanitary Board and its relegation to the Public Works Depart-
-ment the work of the Board and of its Secretary has been
considerably lightened. I propose upon the occurrence of a
vacancy that the Secretaryship shall be added to the Prize
Appointments shown on page 194 of the Civil Service List. The
salary would then be reduced to £360 to £450 by annual incre-
-ments of £10.
