The letter in question was written by me on the Butchery
Company's paper, which I obtained from Tang Kee, ordering
butter from Jahnson, who was e personel friend of mine, and a
stewerd on board a passenger steamship selling periodically to San Francisco, and who obtained a commission from the sellers
