The importation of lottery tickets is already prohibited by re-
gulations.
Section 5 of the Ordinance is based on section 49 of
the Singapore Ordinance No.5 of 1904 and is introduced for the
purpose of giving legislative sanction to a new arrangement.
Section 6 on section 18 of the Imperial Act and
section 36 of the Singapore Ordinance.
Section 7 introduces 3 sections based respectively
on sections 63, 64 and 61 of the Imperial Act.
