I have the honour to report that I have
granted to Mr. J. I. Plumer, Chief Assistant, Hongkong Observa-
-tory, a pension at the rate of X1,080 per annum at 3 s. 8 d.
the dollar equals £198 with effect from the 10th. of last way,
and that the Crown Agents for the Colonies have been instructed
to issue payments to him as they become due.
