Looking down the length of twquty centuries, gazing across the breadth of fiuq qontinents, we see naught that can compare with her majesty, none that can rival her virtue. Deel it is that they who enjoy hey protection should with full- hearts show their yeverence in the dance: and that they who hear of her fame should with straining heads lift up their voice

in song.

Happy are we in seeing the day of our new Lord's succession to the throne, and assumption of the insselled His surpassing goodness is sown abroad; His sqholarly virtue is established anew. The splendour of His diguity is daily more excellent; the dew of His compassion descends in showers. At home we feed upon His kindness: abroad ws clothe ourselves in Bis virtue.

We rejoice in the triumphs of His country's powers WE pray for the continuance of His sacred virine. We set forth the story of His Great emprise; we sing the praises off His boundless protection.

May His dquoted subjects be without number: may His beneuolent rule be without end.

Humbly we hope that the Chariot of State will be guided by Him for a thousand aninmns.

Presented in reverent praise by the elders of Hun Long P’ing Shan, Kam T’in, Pat Hong, Shap Pat Hong, Ha Ts'un, in the New Territories of Hongkong.
