On behalf of ourselves and all the Chinese residents of Enutno we beg to express to the Government, through yon, our sincere thanks for to-day's splendid entertainment on the occasion of the Coronation of Their Most Gracious Majesties The King and Queen of the Great British Empire of which this small island we live in forms a part. During the reign of Hoy late Oujesty Queen Victoria and His late Majesty King Edward The Seuruth, Tai O has a fair share of peace and prosperity a result due to the wisdom. vigins, and good policy of Their late Dajesties. With all the excellent examples of His Imperial Ancestors beloge Him, we arc confident that His Majesty will rival His Imperial Ancestors in making apparent, and in giving a far-reaching effect to. all those good qualities, which weye so highly esteemed and appre- ciated by all both within and without the four seas.

We earnestly hope that this day may mayk the begin- ning of a glorious reigu for the King Emperor George The Fifth and that through His Majesty's good policy and far-reaching influence continued peace and prosperity may reign in every part of his Majesty's dominions. We hope that the well-being of this small island will receive no small share of the gracious care of His Cajesty's representative to make it flourish in every direction. We pray God to bless His Majesty, that he may have a tranquil reign and a long life accompanied with every happiness, and made notable by many glorious achievements.

We ask that our congratulations and our readiness to do homage may be conveyed to the Representative of His Majesty in Hongkang.
