Ly attention has been draw to the fact (1) that you were reported on the 2nd. September, 1908, and as a result of that report that you were reprimanded and warned, (2) that on the 11th. February, 1909, you were again reported and that as a result of that report you were tried by a Committee of the Executive Council and again remanded and warned, (3) that on the 26th. May, 1911, you were again reported and that as a result of that report nine charges were preferred against you by the Acting Attorney-General, (4) that on the 1st. June, 1911, you were given a day's leave on condition that you would deliver a reply to the said charges by 4 o'clock that afternoon and that you broke the condition of your leave and (5) that you were absent without leave on the 2nd. June, 1911, and refused to
return when sent for.
I have considered your replies to the nine charges aforesaid and I do not regard them as satisfactory. You are therefore informed that the question of your suspension will be brought before the Executive Council and you are hereby required to appear and defend yourself orally at a meeting of a Comittee of the Council which will be held at the Attorney-General's
You are Chambers on Monday the 12th. June, 1911, at 2.30 p.m. required to state in writing before that date any grounds upon which you may rely to exculpate yourself.
