With reference to my Despatch No. 393 of
the 14th. of last November, I have the honour to state that,
according to a report by the Colonial Treasurer dated the 28th.
ultimo, the following item occurs in the March Account from the
Crown Agents:-

Contribution to P. & 0. Mail
Subsidy to 31st. March, 1911, .£2,818.5.0.

It would appear therefore that the
reduction asked for in my Despatch above referred to has not
been made and I shall be glad to learn the reasons why my
request has not been entertained. No reply to the Despatch has
as yet reached me.
