forming part of a series written with a very definite object. Now the technical point is this. The Attorney-General told you that

the charge before the jury is the whole series, and he has done it by framing 13 different counts. If you consider the whole series of articles to come within the law as a series then you will be

justified either in giving a verdict as I suggested just now on the
