In reference to the subject of my letter No. 50 of the 16th. instant, I am directed by the Acting Governor of Macao to inform you that instructions have this day been issued to the Superintendent of Morphine in this Colony to cause the Superintendent of Imports and Exports in Hongkong to be informed of any shipment of Morphine at Macao to a Foreign Port in transit at the Port of Hongkong.
