(a). A more drastic enforcement of the Banishment Ordinance to rid the Colony of criminal aliens:

(b). Enforcement of Sections 9 and 10 of Ordinance 3 of 1888 which had fallen into desuetude whereby registered house-holders must notify the Registrar-General of temporary tenants: (c). Increased utilization of the District Watch-

-men Committee and acquisition by the Registrar-General of information from Street Committees and from other Chinese sources: (d). Extension of the system in force in the Central District to all other Districts whereby the senior Chinese Detective is responsible for knowledge of the inhabitants of his District.
