Ordinance, 1882.

Short title and cons- --truction.
Amends Ordi- -nance No. 1 of 1882.
1. This Ordinance may be cited as "The Banishment and
Conditional Pardons Amendment Ordinance 1911" and shall
be read as one with the Banishment and Conditional Par- -dons Ordinance 1882 hereinafter called "The Principal Ordinance".
2. The Principal Ordinance is hereby amended as follows:- (1). By the repeal of section 2 thereof.
(2). In section 4 sub-section (1) thereof by the
deletion of the words "during any space of time not exceeding five years" and by the substitution therefor of the words "during
such period as to the Governor-in-Council
may seem expedient*.
(3). In section 5 thereof by the insertion after
the word "prohibited" in line 1 of the
words "by this Ordinance or".
(4). In section 5 thereof by the deletion in
line 2 of the words "for any space of time not exceeding five years".
(5). In section 5 thereof by the deletion in
line 9 of the words "not exceeding one year*
and by the substitution therefor of the
words "not exceeding five years".
(6). By the addition at the end of section 5
thereof of the following additional pro-
-visoes:
