With reference to paragraph 2 of
your Despatch No. 336 of the 18th. of last November, I have
•
the honour to inform you that Dr. To Ying-kuan on the 1st.
of last October tendered his resignation in the letter of
which I attach a copy. He subsequently intimated that ho
would be willing to continue in his post as Resident
Surgeon at the Tung a Hospital on the following terms: -
(a). Salary to be at the rate of $2,400 per
annum.
(b). The post to be non-pensionable.
(c). The appointment to be terminable upon 3 months' notice given either by the
Government or by himself.
(d). The post to carry with it the privilege of private practico among the ombers of the Committee of the Tung Wa Hospital for the current and last preceding year and among the families of such members
