I am directed by the Comptroller and Audi-
tor General to transmit, for the information of the
Secretary of State, a copy of the Annual Account of
the Treasurer of Hong Kong for the year 1908, to which
is appended the certificate of the Comptroller and
Auditor General together with a copy of the Statement
of Assets and Liabilities of the Colony on 31st Decem-
ber 1908.
2. I am at the same time to present the Report
of the Comptroller and Auditor General on the Account,
and to request that the Detailed Statements of Revenue
and Expenditure, herewith transmitted, being in origi-
nal, may be returned.
