steam-ship "Glenfalloch" on the 30th ultimo were several packets bearing the mark "Lin Kee," London. I enclose specimens of the labels. "Lin Kee" is not an English name, and sounds fictitious.
5. I think the matter is sufficiently important to be brought to the notice of the German Government, through the Foreign Office in London, as to whether some steps can be taken to stop the flooding of China with German drugs, especially as the ships on which our seizures are made are bound for Penang and Rangoon, both British ports. 6. The recent discovery by the assistant protector of Chinese Penang has disclosed a large business in cocaine between China, Penang, and Rangoon, and it is quite likely that contraband gets through without being discovered.
