I HAVE the honour to inform your Excellency that I have this morning received a telegram of to-day's date (Peking time) from the Wai-wu Pu, instructing me to communicate to you that Sir Robert Bredon has tendered his resignation, which has been accepted by the Imperial Government.
Sir Robert Bredon will shortly leave for home.
