I have the honour to inform you that the
Hsin- un Magistrate has arrested one Liang Tou, who is
wanted in Hongkong for havin”, in company with other
persons, attacked and murdered two Indians police con-
stables in the new territories of the Colony, and robbed
them of $67.75, which they were escorting.
As Liang Tou is a native of Pai Niu Shih, in the
new territories and therefore a British subject, Hie
Excellency the Governor of Hongkong has asked me to
apply for his extradition.
I have the honour to forward the request of His
Excellency accordingly.
