In reference to your letters on the 23rd Nov.
1909 and 14th December 1909 re presenting myself for
medical examination I must sincerely apologise to you
for not doing so, also for causing such inconvenience.
I went to the 0/0 Limerick and gave my friends instruc-
tions to forward all correspondence to same but they
failed to do so. I aid not return till 31st December
1909. I will at once proceed to Dublin for examination
hoping this will meet with your approvaj. I was under
the impression that any time within my holiday would do
for my medical examination, same as a friend of mine,
Sergt. Willis of Limerick.
