Advised unanimously that Mr. Breen should be given a further term of six months in which to prepare him- -self for an additional examination in the Chinese written language, to be taken in lieu of the examination in colloquial cantonese, and that, if he passes such additional examination, he should be promoted to be a Passed Cedet.
