Honds of Departments who collect revenue

or who get advances from the Treasury for payments are hereby

reminded that:-

(1). No one should handle cash in the Department

⚫therthan the shroffs. In cases where there is no shroff one

of the clerks must be appointed for the purpose, if necessary.

(2). All Treasury advances should be in the custody

of the shroff or clerk as the case lay bej and receipts should be given to the Head of Department by the officer who has

custody of the advances.

(3). We use must be made of any Government monies including advances except solely for the purpose for which they are destined a.g. no advances of salary to officers must be made

therefrom.
