I have the honour to forward for
the signification of His Majesty's pleasure the enclosed
copy of an Ordinance to consolidato and amend the laws
relating to the administration and regulation of the New
Territories.

Your Lordship will observe from
the Pirat Schedule of this Ordinance that no less than 17
laws previously in force have been repealed, so much of
their contents as had not already become obsolete being
embodied in the present enactment, which comprises very
little now matter.
3.
The enclosed meriorandum by the
Attorney-General gots out all the principal amendments in
the law which have been affected and the reasons that
