Registry incorporating Fishing Licence.

(2). Number of Licence to be painted on each side of centre of
hull and across sail.
(3). Only High Sea-fishing Junks to be allowed 2 Rifles and 50
rounds of ammunition each.
(4). No curing of fish to take place on board.
(5). (a). Not to carry salt except for use of crew according to
fixed scale.
(b). If, however, it is found that Fishing Junks carry on
fish-curing a fixed quantity should be allowed on board to meet requirements. (page 11.)

the same as Trading Junks.

(8). (1). Fishing Babe ander 100 piculs not to be allowed to
leave the waters of the Colony during prohibited hours, except in the case of fishing junks (of the limited capacity mentioned) belonging to Cheung Chau and Tai 0. These may be allowed to deposit their Certificate of Registry and to leave the waters of the Colony under a Special Permit valid for not more
than 4 days. (page 12.)
(2). If such Fishing Junk is found touching abroad or
passing a Customs Station without proper clearance she should be punished by the Harbour Master in conjunct- -ion with the Imperial Chinese Customs.
