With reference to Your Lordship's
telegram of the 17th. of last March, I have the honour to
request that arrangements may be made with the Grown
Agents to place to the credit of this Colony before the
close of the current year the sum of £9,000 which is to
be granted from Imperial Funds to Hongkong in respect of
loss of opium revenue.
2.
I have also to request Your Lord-
-ship to be good enough to inform me by telegram what sum
should be inserted in the Hongkong Estimates for 1911 (now
in course of preparation) as the contribution from Imperial
Funds in respect of that year.
