the recruits' training laid down for the Territorias in England, viz.:-
(a). 40 drills of which 20 must be before the
Annual Training.

(b). An Annual Training of 8 to 15 days say 11.
(c). Recruits' course of musketry.
Those who have been through this course, and all those who have served at least one year in the Regular Army or two as Volunteera ko.. (qualified for capitation grant or such other mark of efficiency as may have prevailed in their Corps) to go through the Territorial traiping:-
(a). 10 drills per annum before annual training. (h). Annual training 8 to 15 days Jay 11. (c). Annual course of rusketry.
Liability to service. I suggest the age limits of 18 and 50 years, with the following exceptions:-
(a). Unless certified to be physically unfit by
a Medical Board appointed by the Governor. (b). Unless the person can show that he will not remain in the Colony for one year, and having left it will not return for one year, If either condition is broken he will he
liable for the training and also to fine. (c). Certain professions. Ministers of religion, nectors &c., but these to be liable for Non-Combatant duti88.
