In compliance with paragraph 2 of
Your Lordship's Despatch No. 119 of the 5th. ultimo,
I
have the honour to forward the enclosed copy of a minute
by the Director of Education, dated the 22nd. instant,
together with copy of the correspondence noted in the
margin to which Mr. E. A. Irving refers. Mr. V. H. Williams
proved to be in many ways an unsatisfactory Officer. The
record of his service is in the Civil Service List.
