I am directed to inform you that the sum of

£39 14 5 is due to Mr. J. Roper, Blackford, Wedmore, near

Weston Super Mare, on behalf of the Orphan children of Lance- -Sergeant 23, A. Counsell late of the Hongkong Police, being the balance of a sum of £50, granted by this Government for their maintenance, after the deduction of a sum of $114.51 to discharge all liabilities of the late L.S. Counsell in this

Colony.

I am to request you to be good enough to

accounts of this Government.
