An Ordinance to amend the Pharmacy Ordinance, 1908
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions
This Ordinance amends the Pharmacy Ordinance, 1908,
by authorising the issue of search warrants, the enforcement of
forfeiture and heavier penalties in respect of especially danger-
-Jus drugs such as cocaine. The sections dealing with search -- warrants, forfeitures and informers are modelled on those contained
in the Opium Ordinance and by section 9 special provisions are
inserted to guard against vexatious use being made of the powe es
given by the Ordinance
