I am the wife (the Tin Fong) of Liu Fuk, I am 40

years of age and my husband is 62.

I live on the ground floor of No. 40, East

Street.

My husband keeps a carpenter's shop called the

Fuk Hing. The shop is on the ground floor of No. 40, Bast Street and I and my husband occupy a room at the back of

the shop.

I have known Inspector Knight 5 or 6 years and

my husband has known him the same length of time.

shop. There were three fokis in the shop and they could see

and hear all that wonton. After the Inspector had been there a few minutes my husband returned. When my husband came back the Inspector asked me and my husband to go tohis house. I refused to go and got up to walk out of the shop.

He said I want you to get into my chair. I would not get into his chair and ran over to No. 45, East Street which is opposite our shop. No. 45 is occupied on the ground floor by Li Ki a contractor as a family house. Li Ki's wife

and sister-in-law are great friends of mine and I am

frequently in that house. I stood at the side of the door. The Inspector at that time sat in my shop and told an apprentice
